The notification for the Combined Defence Services Examination (1) 2024 has been officially released by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) This examination is conducted by UPSC twice a year to select candidates for admission into various posts to become officers in the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force.

The Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) to get selected candidates for admission into the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy, and Officers Training Academy.

The CDS 2024 examination is held by the UPSC which provides an opportunity for all the candidates who are interested to join the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy, or Officers Training Academy.

Physical standard details for UPSC CDS 2024 exam

The physical standards for the UPSC Combined Defense Services (CDS) 2024 exam For men those applying for the Air Force then the minimum height requirement is 157.5 cm, and for women, it is 152 cm. For candidates who want to join the Air Force for Ground Duty then the height criteria are is 162.5 cm for men and 152 cm for women. 

All chest measurement is 81 centimetres with a minimum expansion of 5 centimetres. Vision standards mandate 6/6 vision in one eye and 6/9 in the other without glasses for both men and women.

UPSC CDS 2024 Fee

For the UPSC Combined Defence Services (CDS) 2024 Exam, the application fee structure will depend upon the category of the Candidates belonging to the General or Other Backward Class categories are required to pay a fee of ₹200 to apply online and the female candidates, belonging to the Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Caste categories, are exempted from paying any application fee.
