NEET UG 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility requirements for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) 2024, regarding educational qualifications and age limits, are mentioned below.

  • Educational Qualification: To be eligible, candidates need to have finished their 10+2 (Intermediate) education with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology, and English as their main topics. The academic organization should be recognized by a licensed board.
  • Age Limit: Applicants need to be a minimum of 17 years old as of 31 December 2024 to fulfill the age standards for eligibility.

Note: For General category applicants, it’s important for candidates to secure at least 50% marks in their Intermediate exam. However, if you belong to the OBC, SC, ST, or PWD categories, a score of 40% in the Intermediate examination is enough to satisfy the NEET eligibility criteria.
