Educational Qualification
If you want to apply then there are some educational Qualifications. here’s the educational qualification for each position:
- Principal: You need a Master’s Degree with at least 45% marks overall, plus a B.Ed degree and some work experience.
- TGT English: You need to have studied English at the college level and have a B.Ed degree.
- TGT Odia: You need to have studied Odia at the college level and have a B.Ed degree.
- TGT Social Studies: You need to have studied at least one of these subjects – History, Geography, Political Science, or Economics – at college level, and another subject related to Social Studies. Also, you need a B.Ed degree.
- TGT Maths: You need to have a Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Math as a subject, or a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with Math. And, you need a B.Ed degree.
- TGT Science: You need a Bachelor’s Degree in Science with subjects like Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Bio-Technology, or life science, and a B.Ed degree.
- PGT: You need either a two-year Integrated Post Graduate Course or a Master’s Degree in the subject you’re applying for, with at least 50% marks.
- Art Teacher: You need a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts or Visual Arts.
Remember, for TGT positions, you also need to have passed OSSTET/OTET-Paper-II or CTET-Paper-II exams as well as you will need to meet the education qualification.

Selection Process
The selection process for the OAVS (Odisha Adarsha Vidyalayas Sangathan) Recruitment 2024 will be in four stages for the candidates for teaching and principal positions.
