The Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) is an examination conducted for the candidates who are interested in teaching positions in schools. In Chhattisgarh, the official notification for the Teacher Eligibility Test 2024 is expected to be released by March 2024 for both Paper I and Paper II.

CG TET 2024 Notification
The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board is expected to release the notification for the Chhattisgarh Teacher Eligibility Test (CG TET) 2024 in March 2024. All the Candidates who wanted to become teachers then they will need to fill the application form will be available when the notification is released.
Candidates interested in applying for the CG TET 2024 then stay updated with the official notification on the CGPEB’s website. Once the notification is released then all the candidates can submit their application forms.
The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CGPEB) has not officially confirmed the release date of the notification for the Chhattisgarh Teacher Eligibility Test (CG TET) 2024. CG TET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
All the students who wanted to apply for the CG TET 2024 then they will be needed to submit the application form and to apply for the CG TET 2024 then there are some eligibility criteria for the CG TET 2024.
Educational Qualification:
- For Paper I: must have Passed 12th and completed 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education or 4 years Bachelor’s in Elementary Education.
- For Paper II: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution/university and completed 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education, 4 years Bachelor’s in Elementary Education, or 4 years Bachelor’s of Education.
Note: Candidates with 1.5 years (18 months) DElEd are not eligible.
Age Limit:
- For Paper I: Minimum age of 18 years.
- For Paper II: Minimum age of 21 years.
There is no upper age limit for either Paper I or Paper II.

CG TET 2024 Exam Date
The exact exam date for CG TET 2024 hasn’t been officially announced by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board. the exam is expected to take place in the second quarter of 2024 if the notification is released on time. Then all the Candidates are advised to stay updated with the official announcements for any changes or updates regarding the exam date.
CG TET 2024 Exam Pattern
The CG TET 2024 exam which is conducted by CGPEB then the exam will be held in offline mode. Each paper will have a total of 150 multiple-choice questions from various subjects. All the Candidates will have 2 hours and 30 minutes to attempt the maximum number of MCQs. Each question will carry 1 mark, and there will be no negative marking for incorrect answer.
