The West Bengal Police (WBP) Recruitment Board has announced a new recruitment for all those interested who wanted to work in the Kolkata Police Department. Finally, the notification is out for all the Students who want to work in the West Bengal Police for Constables and Lady Constables.
In this notification, there are a total of 3,734 vacancies which is for the post of 3,464 Constable positions and 270 Lady Constable.

Eligibility criteria for the West Bengal Police Constable Vacancies
Educational Qualifications:
Candidates must have passed the Madhyamik Examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education.
Language Requirement:
All the candidates must be able to read, write, and speak the Bengali language. This will not apply to the people who are permanent residents of hill sub-divisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong Districts.

- Written Examination: Candidates who pass the PMT and PET go to a written examination.
- Interview: The final stage of the selection process is for a personal interview. This allows the selection panel to interact with candidates, and get their suitability for the role.
