Recently, the Chief election commissioner, Rajiv Kumar announced the Lok Sabha elections 2024 dates. The elections will occur in 7 phases, starting on 19 April and ending on 1 June. He also states that the Andhra Pradesh assembly polls will schedule on 13 March, whereas the Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim polls will schedule on 19 April, and the Odisha polls will schedule on 13 May.
In the previous year elections, BJP won the election by 303 seats, whereas congress secured 52 seats. ECI released the schedule for the Lok Sabha elections 2024. By provide the schedule of elections, it give the idea of voting experience for all citizens in country. According to the Lok Sabha elections scheduled for 2024, the elections start on 19 April and end on 1 June. This year, elections will take place in 7 phases.
The first phase of elections will take place on 19 April, whereas the second and third phases of selection will take place on 26 April, 4th phase will take place on 7 May, 5th place will take place on 20 May, and 6th phase will take place on 25 May and 7th phase will take place on 1 June

Lok Sabha elections 2024 Phase-wise schedule
The 18th general elections will take place in 7 phases. There are a total of 102 seats to take part in elections in the first phase, whereas 89 constituencies hold polls in 2 phases. Polling will conduct in 94,96, 49, 57, and 57 seats in the next phases, in that order.
Phase 1
The nominations of 1st phase will be done on 27 March and conducted on 19 April. There are 21 states and union territories are included in this phase of elections.
Phase 2
Phase 2 of the elections will be conducted on 26 April because its nominations will end on 4 April. 12 states and union territories are included in this phase of Lok Sabha elections 2024
Phase 3
The 3rd phase of elections will held on 20 April. The nominations of this phase will be conducted on 7 May. 12 states and union territories are take part in nominations

Phase 5
The nominations for this phase will be made on 3 May. The 5th phase of the Lok Sabha elections 2024 will take place on 20 May, including the eight states and union territories.
Phase 6
The 6th phase of elections, which includes Union territories and 7 states, will take place on 25 May. Nominations for this phase are ended on 6 May.
Phase 7
The 7th phase of elections will take place on 1 June because of the 8 states and the UT nomination ends on 14 May.
