PM Modi to Inaugurate Deendayal Upadhyaya Statue in Maharashtra Today

Today, Wednesday, PM Modi will be set to inaugurate the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Statue in Maharashtra. This state is set to be inaugurated in Yavatmal City under one of the government development programmes. PM Modi will address the 1 lakh members of SHG at the event that is held in Bhari Village of Maharashtra today. He will also unveil the 41-foot statue of Jana Sangh Pandit deendayal Upadhyaya. The visit of PM Modi is considered significant to the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

PM Modi reached Yavatmal on Wednesday

PM Modi is going to unveil the Deendayal Upadhyaya Statue in Yavatmal City. He will reach there on Wednesday at 4:30 P.M. He arrived there to inaugurate the statue with development projects worth 4900 crore. He will also going to distribute the funds to farmers under Maharashtra Rajya Namo shetkari samman yojana and PM Kisan samman nidhi yojana with total credit of Rs 12000.

This time, there is 5th visit of PM Modi to Yavatmal. As the CM of Gujarat, he made his first visit to this city. He arrived that time in backward area to record the number of farmers suicide own to agrarian crisis during the time of Manmohan singh led UPA Government at Congress NCP Government and centre in state.

PM Modi’s visits and significance

Modi has visited Maharashtra frequently over the last year to inaugurate several projects. Although the BJP Unit says that his visits are important for their party, that has a 370-plus target for itself. PM Modi’s visit aims to avail more than 400 seats under the NDA ( National democratic alliance) in the Lok Sabha 2024 polls.

From irrigation to infrastructure, PM Modi has launched several projects in regions of Maharashtra over the last year. Also, in January of 2024, he was in state 2 times in 8 days. On 19 January in Solapur, he inaugrate the affordable housing project for 30,000 families of workers, who are belongs to unorganized category. Currently, there are 15000 houses ready by the government under a project spread over 350 acres that they will soon allot to people.
