RBI Grade B 2024 Vacancy

The number of vacant positions for the RBI Grade B Recruitment 2024 has not been released yet. It is expected from sources that there will be a total of 291 vacancies in 2024 recruitment. The Grade ‘B’ Officers DEPR had 38 vacancies, Grade ‘B’ Officers General has 222 vacancies and the Grade ‘B’ Officers –DSIM has 31 vacancies.

Candidates who want to apply for the Grade ‘B’ (DR)–(General) officer positions under RBI Grade 4 recruitment must have a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD) or an equal grade. It is a minimum qualifying percentage applicable to each the Bachelor’s degree and 12th (or Diploma or equal) and 10th popular examinations.

Grade ‘B’ (DR)–DEPR Officer

Aspiring candidates who want to apply for Grade ‘B’ (DR)–DEPR posts are required to hold a Master’s Diploma in Economics/Econometrics/Quantitative Economics/Mathematical Economics/Integrated Economics Course/Finance, or PGDM/MBA Finance, Master’s degree in Economics. They have a specialization in agricultural/commercial enterprise/developmental/carried out economics or an equal qualification.

Grade ‘B’ (DR)–DSIM Officer

  • A person from Nepal or Bhutan, or
  • A Tibetan refugee who has to get permanent residency in India previous to January 1, 1962, or
  • An individual of Indian foundation who has relocated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam with the purpose of settling completely in India.

Age Limit

The lower age limit is 21 years. The upper age limit is 30 years. However, there is age relaxation given to reserved class candidates. The relaxation is as follows.

  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC: 3 years
  • Physically Handicapped: 10 years
