Shaitaan Movie Ticket Sales and Competition

Shaitaan has sold nearly 195,000 tickets, raking in ₹4.90 crore on its second day alone. The movie currently faces minimal competition at the box office, with Tera Kya Hoga Lovely, starring Randeep Hooda and Ileana D’Cruz, being the only other notable release on the same day.

Ajay Devgn’s previous outing, Bholaa, alongside Tabu, earned ₹11 crore on its first day and eventually grossed ₹90 crore during its theatrical run. Shaitaan’s first-day earnings are comparable to the success of Drishyam 2, which garnered ₹15.38 crore and went on to amass an impressive ₹239 crore in India, becoming a rare hit for Bollywood during a challenging period.

Shaitaan Movie Midnight Shows and Advance Bookings

In response to the increased theatrical occupancy during night shows, many cinema halls and multiplexes in Mumbai have added midnight shows of Shaitaan from Saturday. Multiplexes like Cinepolis Andheri, Maison Inox BKC, and MovieMax Mira Road have included shows starting from 11:59 pm, with Cinepolis Viviana Mall in Thane even adding two shows at the same time, all of which are filling up rapidly.
