The National Testing Agency (NTA) has recently changed the date of an exam called the National Entrance Test for the SHRESHTA Schem the exam was to be held later, but now it will be held on May 11.
The SHRESHTA Scheme is a government program to give a really good education to students who are from the scheduled caste (SC). About 3,000 students from the SC category will be selected to go to CBSE-affiliated schools for classes 9 and 11. The reason for changing the exam date is that there are going to be general elections soon, so they needed to change the schedule.
SHRESHTA NETS 2024 Exam Date
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has changed the date of the exam called SHRESHTA NETS 2024. This exam program was started by the government called SHRESHTA. The program helps scheduled caste (SC) students get a good education. The new date for the exam is May 11.
The SHRESHTA program selects 3,000 SC students and gives them admission to CBSE schools for Class 9 and 11. This modification in the exam date is because of the upcoming general elections.
SHRESHTA NETS 2024: APPLICATION PROCESS, ELIGIBILITY

Application Process
- The last date for submitting the application form is April 4.
- You can get the SHRESHTA NETS 2024 application form on the official website at shreshta.ntaonline.in or exams.nta.ac.in/SHRESHTA.
- A window for correcting the application form will be open from April 6 to 8.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must come from families with a parental income of less than Rs 2.5 lakh per year.
- Scheduled caste students who are currently in Class 8 are eligible to apply for the SHRESHTA NETS Class 9 exam.
- Scheduled caste students who are currently in Class 10 are eligible to apply for the SHRESHTA NETS Class 11 exam.

The exam will be conducted in pen and paper mode which means it will be conducted in Offline mode and all the candidates have 3 hours to complete it the exam will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm. The SHRESHTA (NETS) – 2024 exam will be held in four sections, with a total of 100 questions. Here are the details:

Sections and Distribution of Questions
- Mathematics: 30 questions (120 marks)
