The department of municipal administration and water supply in Tamil Nadu will going to conducts the exam for 1933 vacant seats of assistant engineer, junior engineer, etc. The TNMAWS AE and JE Examare scheduled to be conducted on 29 and 30 June 2024. TNMAWS exam pattern 2024

With the exam date and time, it is also important for applicants to know about the exam pattern. It is always suggested to applicants to prepare for their exam by following the latest exam pattern. Here is the TNMAWS exam pattern. The TNMAWS exam comprises Paper 1 and Paper 2.

Paper 1

This paper focuses on subjects or courses in which candidates get diplomas or degrees. Mechanical, civil, and electrical engineering are the main courses offered, as are town planning and architecture. Every candidate is asked questions in Paper 1,  according to their related course to the post for which they apply.

Duration- 3 hours

Maximum marks- 300

Minimum qualifying marks in Paper 1 vary according to the category of candidates ( 204 for others and 153 for reserved ones) 

Paper 2

Objectives-type questions are asked in this paper. This paper has 2 parts.

Part A

Part A consists of 100 questions with 150 marks total. This part checks the knowledge of candidates in the Tamil language. Candidates should get a minimum of 60 % marks to be evaluated for both Paper 1 and 2

Part B

This part consists of 75 general knowledge questions linked to the diploma or degree grade of the applied post. Moreover, 25 questions are asked from mental ability and apttitude at SSC level. There are a total of 100 questions asked in Part B, which carry 150 marks

  • First, you should visit the official site of TNMAWS, https://tnmaws.ucanapply.com/login.
  • Next, you should find the option for admit card
  • Tap on the TNMAWS admit card link
  • You are registered to enter your information, like application Number/registered ID, DOB or password.
  • Ensure to enter your accurate information here
  • After entering information, tap on the submit button
  • Admit card are shown on your screen. You should check all your details on it.
  • If you find every detail on the admit card correct, tap on the download button to download it.
  • In this way, your admit card is downloaded to your device
  • In last, remember to take a print of your admit card to take to the exam hall
