Knowledge of Tamil Language

  • Candidates must have sufficient skill ability in Tamil. An individual is considered to have good enough Tamil knowledge if they have cleared the SSLC exam or its equivalent, HSC, or Degree checks with Tamil as one of the languages.
  • Alternatively, they need to have exceeded the SSLC examination or its equivalent in Tamil medium or cleared the Second Class Language Test (Full Test) in Tamil performed by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission.
  • Furthermore, candidates are required to upload or submit proof of their SSLC, HSC, Degree, or PG Degree mark sheets or proof of passing the Second Class Language Test (Full Test) in Tamil.

TNPSC Group 4 Document Required
