BCCI Central Contract : The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had released the list of Central Contract at the end of February. In which the board had avoided some veterans while many young players have been entered into this list.
The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season will start on March 22. The first match will be played between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captained by Mahendra Singh Dhoni. But before this, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has given a powerful gift to two star players.
Now BCCI has also given good news to Sarfaraz Khan and Dhruv Jurel. Recently, both the players batted well in the Test series against England. Sarfaraz and Jurel made their debut in this series and played 3-3 test matches.
Let us tell you that Sarfaraz Khan will not be able to play IPL this time. No one bought them in the auction. His base price was Rs 20 lakh. On the other hand, Dhruv Jurel will be seen playing for Rajasthan Royals. He will get Rs 20 lakh for one season.

Names included in Group-C
BCCI has taken this decision after youngsters Sarfaraz Khan and Dhruv Jurel fulfilled the criteria of playing three Tests. Both the batsmen were included in Group C. In the BCCI Apex Council meeting held on March 18, the board has confirmed the names of both.
Now both the players will be given Rs 1 crore annually by the board. After the series against England, Dhruv Jurel is all set to make his mark in IPL 2024.
32 Names in the List
The list of 30 players in the central contract was released by BCCI. Now the names of a total of 32 players are recorded in this entire list. Among the players who were out of the contract list, stars like Ishan Kishan, Shreyas Iyer, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane and Yuzvendra Chahal remained a big issue. Due to which the board also had to become a victim of criticism. However, this fire has now stopped.

Excellent Batting of Jurel Sarfaraz
Dhruv Jurel and Sarfaraz Khan batted tremendously in the Test series against England. Sarfaraz Khan got a chance to debut in Team India after a long time. He scored two consecutive half-century innings in his debut match.
Sarfaraz scored 3 half-centuries in 3 tests. Whereas, if we talk about Dhruv Jurel, the young player proved to be the trouble-shooter of Team India in the Ranchi Test. Jurel played brilliant innings of 90 and 39 runs in this match and contributed significantly to the victory of Team India.
