Imad Wasim was born in Swansea, United Kingdom. His father works as an engineer in the UK. His parents moved to Pakistan when he was young. So he also grew up in Islamabad, Pakistan. From the early age, he starts playing for Pakistani cricket team and gains recognition as left handed all rounder. Before focus on cricket career, he study in medicine field, but quit later when he got chance to play cricket under-19 Pakistan team. After years, Imad Wasim was married sannia ashfaq in Islamabad.

Imad Wasim is the famous and best player of Islamabad in the Pakistan Super League 2024 championship. He confirmed earlier that he came back to Pakistan’s senior team after his retirement from International cricket.
